FedEx Logistics is seeking a Seasonal Courier in California to drive company vehicles and deliver or pick up packages at customer locations. This role is up to 12 weeks with potential for permanent placement upon completion.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and good communication skills. Shifts are typically 1400–1930, Monday–Friday, with hourly pay ranging from $24.21 to $35.96.

Essential Functions

• Provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions.
• Drives vehicles not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 Lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials and to respond to official inquiries and directions in accordance with FMCSA enforcement guidance.

Job Conditions

Non-covered safety-sensitive position. Neat appearance since customer contact is required. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner. Must be licensed for type of vehicle assigned.

Special Notes:

A Seasonal Courier position is up to 12 weeks. Upon assignment completion, the employee may be offered a permanent position.

Pay Transparency

Pay: 24.21 - 35.96 USD Hourly

Additional Details:

PT- Monday-Friday, hours APPROXIMATELY 1400-1930 subject to change due to operational needs.
