DL Gasser Construction is seeking a Construction Quality Control Technician in Baraboo, WI. This full-time seasonal position involves sampling and testing aggregate and hot mix asphalt products, ensuring conformity to specifications, and reporting results to management and road crews.

The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and physical endurance. On-the-job training will prepare the candidate for a Department of Transportation QC Certification.

Qualifications

• 1. Previous quality control experience preferred.
• 2. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and co-workers in a fast-paced environment.
• 3. Detail oriented with ability to listen and follow protocols.
• 4. Competence in math and computer skills (spreadsheets & email).
• 5. Physically fit to stand, squat, bend, lift and walk long durations.
• 6. Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• 7. Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Sample and test aggregate and hot mix asphalt products.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Report results to management and road construction crews.
