Job summary

Northwoodspaving is seeking a Construction Quality Control Technician to ensure the quality of aggregate and hot mix asphalt products. In this role, you will sample and test products, working closely with production teams to ensure specifications are met.

Training will provide the necessary knowledge to obtain a Quality Control Technician Certification. The position covers locations in Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, including Ironwood.

A Construction Quality Control “QC” Technician is responsible for sampling and testing of aggregate and hot mix asphalt products. The QC Technician works with production to ensure our products meet customer specifications and reports the results to the management team and road construction crews.

On the job training will provide the employee the specific knowledge to obtain a Company sponsored Quality Control Technician Certification from the Department of Transportation.

Our Construction Quality Control Technicians and other laboratory professionals complete work throughout Northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan including Ashland, WI; Washburn, MI; Ironwood, MI and surrounding communities.
