Chartwells K-12 is hiring for seasonal concession food service positions in Saline, MI. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $18.50 per hour with evenings and weekends required, at least some events in schools. Location is Saline Area Schools; online applications accepted only.

Qualifications

• Prior food service experience is required.
• Seasonal schedule; evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sells concessions, including soft drinks and various food items to customers at events.
• Serves customers in an efficient and friendly manner following outlined steps of service.
• Interacts with customers and resolves customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner; relays relevant information to supervisor.
• Performs sales transactions in a reasonable and timely fashion; enters sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are recorded.
• Makes change, accepts acceptable forms of payment and issues receipts; follows cash handling procedures.
• Responsible for all change funds and cash receipts; ensures cash drawer complies with overage/shortage standards.
• Replenishes condiments and general supplies and maintains cleanliness of concession area.
• Ensures compliance with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
