Job summary

St. Theresa Catholic School in the Diocese of Austin seeks head coaches to manage team operations, develop players, and lead practice sessions across Cross Country, Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, Track & Field, Tennis, Golf and more.

The position is seasonal and paid by stipend, with duties including safety, instruction, and building a positive team environment. Coaches will work with school staff, support academic programming, and attend meetings as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Experience coaching or playing sports is preferred.
• Must meet diocesan policies including EIM training, safety requirements.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist head coaches in all aspects of team management.
• Provide skill instruction and training sessions.
• Help create a positive team environment and disciple through体育 values.
• Collaborate with school staff and attend meetings as assigned.
• Handle safety guidelines and heat/extreme weather procedures.
