St. Anthony Summit Hospital in Frisco, CO, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver direct and indirect nursing care under RN supervision.

Qualified external applicants with at least one year of experience may be eligible for a seasonal bonus up to $4,000 and a Summit County housing stipend of $400/month for full-time residents of Summit County.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program.
  • State registered CNA license is required.
  • Six months CNA or healthcare experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality patient care including comfort, hygiene, safety, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
  • Promptly answer call lights and respond to patient needs.
  • Report patient status changes to the Registered Nurse accurately and promptly.
  • Document vital signs, input/output, nutrition, hygiene, weights, and other patient care and report findings.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential patient charts and records.
  • Assist with delegated patient care tasks under nurse supervision.
  • Provide person-centered care with compassion and teamwork.
  • Communicate hazards or errors related to patient care to the health care team.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission.

  • Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs.
  • Promptly answers call lights and responds to patient needs.
  • Reports patient status changes and needs to Registered Nurse accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed and reports findings promptly to Registered Nurse.
  • Maintains thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.
  • Assists with safe and appropriate delegated patient care tasks which are directly supervised by the nurse.
  • Provides person-centered care with sensitivity and respect for the human experience in a collaborative fashion with other team members.
  • Communicates concerns regarding hazards or errors related to patients to the health care team.

Qualified external applicants with at least one year of experience may be eligible for a seasonal bonus up to $4,000!

  • _ $400/month Summit County housing stipend available for full time residents of Summit, Park, Eagle, Grand, Clear Creek or Lake Counties. Must work at least 80% physically on-site at facility in Summit County and full time or part time status (PRN ineligible). More details available upon offer. _
Job Requirements
Required

Pay Range

$18.50 - $28.51 /hour
