Applicants must have a minimum of two years’ experience in the specialty they are applying for and the ability to work independently with clinical confidence.
Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures, and professional guidelines, the nurse delivers care to pediatric patients. Responsibilities include planning and implementing nursing care, documenting assessments, identifying and reporting situations requiring intervention, formulating and communicating goal-directed care plans, and ensuring patient rights are upheld. The nurse must perform duties in accordance with Tampa General Hospital's mission, vision, values, and principles of quality improvement.
