Seasonal Class A CDL Driver - Clinton Transport

Job Summary

CDL drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailer equipment and maintaining it properly to transport materials to designated locations in a timely manner.

Position Details

Type: Full-time, seasonal, Monday - Friday, 5 am to 5 pm (hours may vary depending on load), with some weekend availability during peak season. Expect 40+ hours with paid overtime after 8 hours/day.

Location: Clinton, WI

Pay: $21+/hour based on experience

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A trucks safely to transport materials, often on uneven or unfinished surfaces.
• Climb ladders up to 15 feet attached to trucks or fertilizer tanks.
• Lift up to 60 pounds on uneven surfaces.
• Perform daily maintenance, including cleaning trucks.
• Recognize surroundings, practice traffic awareness, and obey DOT regulations.
• Tarp loads, verify gates are closed, and clean spills or buildup.
• Assist with general labor duties during slower periods.
• Communicate effectively and read maps to navigate.
• Provide delivery services and interact with customers and managers.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks regularly, including handling tools and reaching with hands and arms.
