POSITION OVERVIEW

Operates and maintains single, tandem, or multi-axle trucks/trailers and forklifts for delivery and pickup of agronomy and energy products, following specified schedules to support profitable business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operate and maintain assigned vehicles and equipment in accordance with safety standards and proper operation techniques.
  • Conduct daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections, including checking fuel, oil, tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Load and unload trucks according to company policies and DOT regulations.
  • Ensure all deliveries and pickups, along with documentation, meet company standards.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

  • Maintain company equipment and adhere to safety and professional standards.
  • Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct, Environmental Health and Safety policies, OSHA, and DOT regulations.
  • Perform basic shop maintenance tasks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development.
  • Possession or ability to obtain a CDL with required endorsements, a valid medical card, and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments, including dust, fumes, chemicals, and at heights.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Participation in training related to company policies and safety is required. Employment is contingent upon background checks, drug testing, motor vehicle reports, and references, as permitted by law.
