Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions, the retail division of Nutrien, is seeking a local CDL driver in New Memphis, IL. You will safely transport fertilizer and other products, maintain records, and ensure timely deliveries to farming customers.

Role emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT standards, and physical capability to handle up to 50 lbs. The position offers full-time hours with overtime during peak seasons and opportunities for career development within Nutrien.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Must meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
• Pass substance abuse screening is required.
• CDL is required; Hazmat endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer orders, safely and accurately.
• Complete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulations.
• Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed.
• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials.
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer using forklift or hand truck.
• Maintain awareness of product hazards and take proper precautions.
• Perform responsibilities safely and efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Drive company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer order, safely and accurately
• Complete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulations
• Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed
• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer at the facility, safely and efficiently by using forklift or hand truck
• Keep abreast of the dangers and hazards of products and take proper precaution
• Able to perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently
• Clean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Must meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
• A CDL required; hazmat endorsement preferred

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role, in New Memphis, IL location, is between $18.00 - $24.00. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.

Our benefit package provides paid sick days. However, given the temporary nature of this role, this position does not participate in any other benefit, retirement savings or paid time off programs, nor any form of incentive compensation. This position is eligible for overtime and any pay elements required under local, state or federal law. Nutrien will comply with benefit and retirement regulations.
