Job summary

Nutrien Ag Solutions in Imperial, CA is seeking a local CDL A Hazmat driver to join our team. You will transport fertilizer and chemical products to customers, maintaining accuracy, safety, and compliance with DOT regulations.

Local shifts offer stability with 40+ hours per week, including overtime during peak season. The role emphasizes safety, vehicle maintenance, and timely delivery to support our customers’ agricultural needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma
• Driving experience preferred
• Must have a driving record that meets company standards
• Must meet DOT physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening
• CDL Class A and Hazmat required
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Drive company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer order, safely and accurately
• Complete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulations
• Deliver product to customers as needed
• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer using forklift or hand truck
• Maintain awareness of dangers and hazards of products and take proper precautions
• Perform responsibilities safely and efficiently
• Clean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment

What You'll Do

• Drive company trucks to designated sprayer or fertilizer order, safely and accurately

• Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed
• Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
• Unload or assist in unloading trailer of bulk chemical and fertilizer at the facility, safely and efficiently by using forklift or hand truck
• Keep abreast of the dangers and hazards of products and take proper precaution
• Able to perform all responsibilities safely and efficiently
• Clean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role, in Imperial, CA location, is between $20.00 - $28.75. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
