Job summary

Palmetto Propane in Lexington, SC, is seeking a Seasonal Propane Transport Delivery Driver to safely deliver propane to commercial and industrial customers during the peak season. CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements is required; DOT compliance and strong safety and service mindset are essential.

The role reports out of the Lexington hub and offers seasonal employment November through March, with day-shift training for about four to six weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to commercial and industrial customers.
• Operate delivery trucks in DOT-compliant manner.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete deliveries using electronic dispatch and mobile devices.
• Provide exceptional customer service while representing Palmetto Propane professionally.
• Maintain clean, well-maintained trucks and equipment.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
