Palmetto Propane in West Columbia, SC seeks a dependable Propane Delivery Driver to combine delivery with fieldwork, including installation, maintenance, and repair of propane systems and equipment. This role suits someone who enjoys driving and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
Clean driving record and ability to pass background check.
Basic mechanical knowledge preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
Willing to work outdoors in inclement weather.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Comfortable using mobile devices and dispatch systems.
Full-time hours with overtime and disaster relief availability.

Responsibilities

Operate propane delivery trucks safely and comply with regulations.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
Assist service technicians in installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of propane equipment.
Maintain clean, organized trucks and equipment.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management.
Provide excellent customer service.
Participate in on-call rotations and adhere to safety guidelines.
