Job summary

Buc-ee's is hiring a Seasonal Cashier to provide fast, friendly checkout services and maintain an in-stock, clean store environment. You will handle payments, some beer transactions per state law, and support stocking and labeling tasks.

Must be flexible for weekends/holidays; high school diploma preferred; basic math and POS proficiency required; walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic math skills.
• Relevant cashier experience is preferred.
• Mastery of POS functions.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute a fast, friendly, and in-stock checkout experience for customers.
• Transact items for checkout on POS units using acceptable payment methods.
• Transact beer purchases in accordance with state laws.
• Balance cash drawer at start and end of shift.
• Process exchanges and refunds per policy.
• Maintain clean and tidy checkout area.
• Assist in stocking and labeling merchandise.
• Respond to customer complaints as first responder.
• Perform other duties as required and assigned.
• Be flexible to work weekends and holidays.
