Job summary

Buc-ee's Ltd in Texas is seeking a Seasonal Cashier to deliver fast, friendly, and accurate checkout experiences for customers during the holiday season.

Responsibilities include operating POS systems, processing payments, balancing cash drawers, handling exchanges and refunds, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean checkout area while ensuring beverage sales comply with state laws. Must be available weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Basic math skills required.
• Relevant cashier experience preferred.
• Listen to customer needs and communicate clearly.
• Mastery of POS functions; fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout for customers.
• Transact items at checkout using POS and acceptable payment methods.
• Transact beer purchases in accordance with state laws.
• Balance cash drawer at start and end of each shift.
• Process exchanges and refunds per policy.
• Maintain clean and stocked checkout area; label merchandise.
• Serve as first responder to customer complaints.
• Support in stocking and rotation of merchandise.
• Prepare and review Pay Point reports.
• Perform other duties as required; flexible on tasks.
• Work weekends and holidays; adapt to store’s busiest days.
