Job summary

Steve Madden in Costa Mesa is seeking a part-time Cashier who delivers outstanding customer service, knows our products, and processes transactions at the POS with accuracy.

Role includes greeting customers, assisting with merchandising, maintaining cash accountability, and supporting store operations. Flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and holidays is required, with benefits and discounts as noted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years in retail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays

Responsibilities

Cashier (P/T)

The Cashier is responsible for listening and responding appropriately to customer needs, maintaining extensive product knowledge, and exhibiting professionalism at the POS.
