Total Wine & More in Centennial, CO is hiring a Seasonal Front End Team Member (Cashier) to deliver fast, friendly service, process transactions, verify IDs, promote the loyalty program, and help customers explore wine, spirits, and beer.

You may also serve as a sales associate or merchandiser, receive product training, operate POS systems, maintain shelf stock, and uphold safety and store standards. Shifts include evenings and weekends, with an hourly pay range of $13.25–$18.55.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service-focused with a team-player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience; retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

About the role

About the role As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While both part-time and full-time positions generally focus on being a cashier, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate. Internally, you will be referred to Front End Team Member and report to the store management team. You will Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty program, and bagging product Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing about products and services Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned If this job posting is coded as a seasonal role above, you can expect this position to be short term, no longer than six months, and you will have the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Qualifications

You will come with High school diploma or equivalent preferred Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends

Physical Requirements

Physical requirements (with or without accommodations) Must be 21 years of age or older Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday

Compensation

Worker Type: Seasonal (Seasonal) Pay Range: $13.25 - $18.55 Hourly

Compensation may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills and/or experience.
