Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a part-time Cashier to provide warm, knowledgeable service at the POS. You will handle transactions, greet customers, and maintain product knowledge with professionalism. This role requires accuracy, a friendly attitude, and flexibility to work day, evening, weekends, and holidays.

As a part of the store team, you’ll support merchandise replenishment, floor moves, and customer-focused experiences while upholding cash handling standards and POS operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of retail experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to process information or merchandise through the computer system and POS register system.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Be flexible to occasionally perform work outside your specific role.
