Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by greeting customers and providing knowledgeable service.
• Assist customers in locating course materials, school supplies, apparel and other merchandise.
• Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor through merchandising and replenishment.
• Support inventory, receiving merchandise, order fulfillment, and other store operations.
• Develop product knowledge to confidently assist customers and participate in teamwork.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming store environment that reflects Barnes & Noble College.
