Job summary

Girl Scouts of Central Texas is seeking a Program Coordinator for Bluebonnet Shores in Belton, TX. This seasonal role involves enriching campers’ experiences with girl-planned activities, leading all camp programs, and training staff under supervision.

You’ll schedule weekly sessions and coordinate facilitator duties throughout the summer. Ideal candidates will have prior camp or classroom supervisory experience, strong leadership with youth, and the ability to work with diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Camp or classroom administrative experience and ability to supervise or lead groups.
• Proven leadership while working with youth aged 6–17.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience planning weekly camp activities and schedules.
• Training in safety/first aid is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs and organizes camp activities to meet camper outcomes.
• Create weekly activity and facilitator schedules and staff breaks.
• Lead and train staff; supervise facilitator staff and coordinate supplies.
• Coordinate non-program activities (campfire, events, meals).
• Ensure quality, safe programming and adherence to policies.
