Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Director for a hands-on, on-site leadership role at a top-tier summer camp. You will oversee daily culinary and service operations, staff management, budgeting, and allergen safety in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time, on-site position requiring a six-day, 70-hour week, with room and board provided and travel allowances. You will lead a dynamic team and ensure top-notch quality for diverse dietary needs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional/batch cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certification; Allergens certification required before start date.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to live on-site in a rustic camp setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and train FOH and kitchen staff; foster a high-energy environment.
• Oversee culinary operations, portion control, menu specs, scratch cooking and timely service.
• Manage allergen safety protocols and maintain Health Department sanitation standards.
• Handle inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
