If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns, as well as significant experience in preparing and filing these returns.

What you'll bring
  • Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws, evidenced by 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season, using commercial tax software.
  • Must possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
  • Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year in a practice or retail setting, strongly preferred.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
  • Bookkeeping experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry customers is strongly preferred.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain relevant state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
  • Commitment to a minimum schedule of at least 20 hours/week during tax season.
  • Working knowledge of Circular 230.
  • Proficiency with technology, including computer operations and software.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally via video and audio tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable internet connection meeting security criteria.

    • This is a virtual, customer-facing role, utilizing video communication software to interact with customers responsibly and professionally, documenting interactions accurately.
