If you are a highly motivated individual with business tax preparation experience, excellent communication skills, and an active, unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney), we need you to help our customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax Business products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex business tax returns for Partnerships and S Corporations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations for business and personal tax returns, as well as significant experience in preparing and filing these returns.

What you'll bring

• Strong business tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws, evidenced by 3 or more years of recent experience preparing federal and state business tax returns (1065 and/or 1120-S) for at least 20 clients per season using commercial tax software.
• Must possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney.
• Minimum of 2 seasons of personal tax preparation experience, with at least 30 tax returns per year in a tax practice or retail setting, strongly preferred.
• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, spread across three or more days.
• Bookkeeping experience related to tax preparation is strongly preferred.
• Experience preparing business tax returns for service industry clients is strongly preferred.
• Must be able to obtain any required state licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds.
• Must possess or be able to obtain an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
• Commitment to a minimum schedule of 20 hours/week (minimum 4-hour shifts) throughout the tax season.
• Working knowledge of Circular 230.
• Proficiency with technology, including solid knowledge of computer operations and software.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally through video and audio tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, research skills, and determination.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have (or be willing to obtain) internet connection meeting Intuit's security standards.

This includes tax advice, full-service return preparation, tax calculations, and managing product/software inquiries, contributing to our goal of "Powering Prosperity Around the World".
  • Maintain sensitive, confidential, and proprietary customer and business information responsibly and securely.
  • Use government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to find and deliver accurate answers in understandable language.
  • This is a virtual, customer-facing role, utilizing video communication tools to interact with customers responsibly and professionally, documenting interactions accurately.
