Job summary

Mind Games is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate for the Walden Galleria Mall in Buffalo, NY. Join a team that loves games, toys and puzzles and help customers enjoy a fun shopping experience.

You will greet customers, build rapport, operate a POS, restock the store, and maintain a visually compelling space while aiming to meet and exceed sales goals. A high school diploma and 1+ year in sales or retail are required, with a passion for pop culture and board games a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of experience in sales, customer service, or retail preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion/knowledge of pop culture and board games (preferred).
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, build customer confidence, and recommend products based on needs.
• Operate a POS system, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Keep the store neat and restocked to meet customer demand.
• Act as an expert on product lines and answer questions.
• Advise customers on product selection, usage, care and maintenance.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales goals.
• Maintain a professional, welcoming demeanor and quick checkout.
