Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a seasonal bell ringer to support fundraising efforts at kettles during the November 14–December 24 period. You will greet donors, stand outdoors, and help raise funds for Salvation Army services in the community.

Responsibilities include arriving on time, working 4–8 hour shifts, staying at the kettle, and following safety procedures. You will not handle cash, must dress appropriately, and maintain a cheerful, respectful demeanor while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Experience working with the public is desired.
• Must be clean, neat and well groomed.
• Dressed appropriately for location and weather.
• Willingness to promote The Salvation Army's mission.

Responsibilities

• Ring the kettle at assigned location to raise funds.
• Report to work promptly as scheduled.
• Work in all weather conditions.
• Stand for 4–8 hours per shift and up to 40 hours per week.
• Stay at the kettle, bell and stand, and ensure proper presentation and security.
• Represent The Salvation Army and its programs.
• Greet the public and thank donors.
• Follow corps policies and procedures.
