Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking bell ringers to serve at approved locations during the Christmas kettle campaign. You will stand beside the kettle, greet customers, and help remind passersby of the organization's presence while collecting donations.

As a bell ringer, you must be at least 18, maintain a neat appearance, and interact with the public in a friendly, respectful way. Training and coordination with the Kettle Coordinator ensure smooth operation and accurate hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Criminal background check required when near children.
• Neatly groomed, friendly, respectful and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work at the assigned location on time.
• Stand and ring the bell at the kettle stand.
• Greet customers and acknowledge The Salvation Army's presence.
• Record hours worked on the daily time slip and coordinate with the Kettle Coordinator.
