Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking bell ringers to stand at approved locations during the holiday season, greeting customers and collecting donations with a friendly approach. You will represent the organization and help raise funds and awareness in the community.

Responsibilities include arriving on time, ringing the bell, wearing proper ID, recording hours, and maintaining a neat work area. You must be at least 18 and able to pass a background check if near children.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Background check if working near children ( Protect the Mission policies ).
• Be neatly groomed.
• Be friendly, respectful, honest, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work on time at the assigned location.
• Stand and ring the bell at kettle stand.
• Wear proper identification given by The Salvation Army.
• Record worked hours on the time slip daily.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Say 'Merry Christmas', 'Thank you', 'God Bless you', etc.
• Communicate with Kettle Coordinator when unavailable or schedules change.
• Do not eat, drink, be on the phone, or be under any controlled substance while working.
• Keep work area clean.
• Perform other assignments as directed.
