Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern CA Division is seeking a Christmas Ambassador for a temporary full-time assignment in Anaheim. You will stand at the kettle, ring the bell, greet customers, and help collect donations for The Salvation Army’s programs during the Christmas season.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check for work around children, be neatly groomed, friendly, punctual, and reliable. Training and support will be provided to represent the organization with dignity.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Criminal background check required near children, with Protect the Mission training.
• Neatly groomed appearance.
• Friendly, respectful, honest, and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Show up to work on time at the assigned location.
• Stand and ring the bell at kettle stand.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner.
• Record worked hours on the time slip daily, including lunch breaks.
• Coordinate with Kettle Coordinator when unable to work or when availability changes.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Perform other assignments as directed.
