Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, assist with cashier duties, keep fixtures stocked, and help run in-store events. You will engage guests to determine their needs, demonstrate products, and support leadership in achieving sales goals.

You should have a passion for the beauty industry, be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays, and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Ensure each guest receives exceptional service by greeting, engaging, and personalizing service.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for and support services and in-store events to deliver a superior guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new products and services and knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits.
