Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Durham, NC is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will greet guests, perform makeup applications, and advise on products while supporting store goals for service and sales.

You’ll help stock fixtures, maintain store cleanliness, and assist with in-store events and promotions to deliver a memorable shopping experience. Ideal candidates demonstrate a passion for beauty, strong guest service skills, and the ability to work both

Qualifications

High school diploma is preferred.
1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred
Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling
Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices)
Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
Ability to troubleshoot
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales and loyalty.
Greet and engage guests, personalize service, answer questions, and recommend products.
Perform makeup applications and skincare analysis to drive sales.
Book appointments and support in-store events to deliver guest experiences.
Maintain stock, cleanliness, and assist with merchandising and restocking.
