Ulta Beauty in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will greet guests, perform makeup demos, and drive sales while maintaining store standards and stock levels.

The role requires guest service passion, basic tech skills, and the ability to build relationships. Flexibility for scheduling and a welcoming team environment are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Provide an exceptional service environment by greeting and engaging each guest and recommending products.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales.
• Book appointments for and support services and in-store events.
• Stay informed on new and existing products to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
