Ulta Beauty is seeking a Seasonal Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our store. You will greet guests, provide product recommendations, perform demonstrations, and help with services as needed.

This role emphasizes sales performance, knowledge of products, and a team-oriented approach. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required, with opportunities to learn about beauty trends and build lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (POS system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty (including credit), omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Greet and engage each guest, tailor service to their needs, answer questions about products and services, inform guests about promotions and sales, and recommend Ulta Beauty products and/or services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and the guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while delivering on sales goals.
• Take the initiative to stay informed regarding new and existing products and services during work time and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these products and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
