Job summary

Bay Creek Resort in Cape Charles, VA, part of Troon, is seeking a part-time Beach Attendant for a seasonal assignment lasting six months or less. You will greet owners and guests, assist with beach setup, and deliver friendly service in a warm, private-club environment.

Ideal candidates are comfortable walking on sand, able to lift up to 50 pounds, swim briefly, and work under heat. This role offers healthcare and retirement benefits through Troon.

Qualifications

• Meets and greets all owners and guests visiting the private beach.
• Able to walk, jog, or run on sand.
• Ability to lift more than 50 pounds.
• Withstand high heat environment for more than 8 hours at a time.
• Communicate in English with owners and guests in a private club environment.
• Ability to swim for more than 5 minutes.
• Provide a high level of customer service with a positive attitude in a physically demanding environment.
• Set up and breakdown beach chairs and umbrellas.
