Job summary

Manor Vail Lodge in Vail, CO, seeks a Part-Time Seasonal Bartender to serve patrons at the Fitz Bar and Ridge + River restaurant. Shifts run 11 AM–10 PM, seven days a week, with gratuities in addition to hourly pay. Colorado sick leave, holiday pay, parking, and retirement benefits after 90 days are offered.

Responsibilities include taking orders, mixing drinks, serving wine and beer, handling payments, restocking, and garnishing beverages. TIPS or a state alcohol certificate is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• TIPS or State Responsible Alcohol Certificate required.
• Ability to read, write and speak clearly; basic math for payments.
• F&B POS systems knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Takes orders from customers or servers.
• Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and drinks.
• Serves wine and draught or bottled beer.
• Collects money or credit cards for drinks served.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Arranges bottles and glasses for attractive display.
• Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks.
