Job summary

Paws Up is seeking a Barback for Special Events (Spring/Summer 2027) to support bar services across events in Montana and beyond. You will assist bartenders, restock supplies, and help keep the bar area clean and organized to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Health and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays during the Spring/Summer season.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).

Responsibilities

• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes and bar supplies throughout the event.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and wash glassware.
• Set up and break down bar stations before and after events.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs to management.
• Support bartenders to deliver prompt, courteous service to guests.
