Job summary

The Adolphus in Dallas, TX is seeking a Bar Back for our Winter Village seasonal program. You will stock glassware, ice, syrups, and spirits, assist bartenders, maintain bar cleanliness, and ensure inventory is ready for service throughout shifts.

A proactive, detail-oriented attitude and prior experience are highly preferred. You will work in a prestigious downtown hotel environment, collaborate with a skilled team, and enjoy benefits and opportunities during the holiday season.

Qualifications

• Prior experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Eyes are always on the critical 6: ice, juice, syrups/mixers, spirits, glassware, bar top cleanliness
• Anticipate items to stock during shift - prior to running out
• Understand bar equipment and how to troubleshoot problems during shift (Low CO2 in tap lines, dishwasher cycling, changing beer keys, etc.)
• Maintain bar cleanliness from all angles - the bar top where guests are seated, the bar back where spirits, glassware, supplies are located, waste bins, and floors
• Thorough knowledge of menu and beverage offerings and supporting knowledge of brand vision and standards of quality
• Prior experience highly preferred
• A proactive and detailed demeanor
