Job summary

Luminary Hotel & Co. in Fort Myers is seeking a lively banquet server for seasonal on-call events. You’ll provide friendly, attentive service in line with Autograph Collection standards, greeting guests and serving food and beverages during banquets.

You’ll assist with setup, bussing, and clearing, maintain area cleanliness, operate the POS system, and follow safety and cash-handling policies. Bilingual skills are a plus; ServSafe certification and a High School diploma are recommended.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ banquet server experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• ServSafe certified.
• High School diploma or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive service in banquet events per BEO and Autograph Collection standards.
• Assist setup of banquet tables, buffets, and coffee stations; serve food and beverages.
• Buss and clear tables; maintain cleanliness of function areas before and after events.
• Operate POS system and adhere to cash handling policies.
• Follow hotel policies and safety procedures; communicate inventory needs to management.
