Job summary

Aman at Amangiri in Utah is seeking a Seasonal Back Server to support the service team from late July/early August through November 7, 2026. Housing is available at a monthly rate.

You will assist with delivering food and beverages, maintain spotless service areas, and ensure smooth front-to-back communication to uphold luxury standards. Ideal candidates have beverage service experience, are energetic, and team-oriented, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Positive, engaging, and energetic personality with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Strong multitasking abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
• Ability to carry, push, and pull heavy loads up to 45 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, and work in varying environmental conditions.
• Must maintain a clean and professional appearance as per company policies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and maintain positive professional relationships.
• TIPS and ServSafe certified is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing tables and maintaining a clean front and back of house area, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests as per service standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Always maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in all food and beverage areas.
• Be fully knowledgeable about the menu and food offerings, providing descriptions to guests when necessary.
• Complete understanding of allergens and the SOPs regarding handling of guests’ allergies.
• Stock and polish equipment and replenish side stations as needed throughout service.
• Act as liaison between servers and kitchen, ensuring information and requests are communicated.
• Work with kitchen to ensure proper timing of food delivery and course pacing.
• Assist in setting up/breaking down tables and stations per SOPs; pre/post shifts and daily duties.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor to ensure guest satisfaction.

Join our team in Amangiri. Blending into untouched red-rock country on over 900 acres of the Colorado Plateau, Amangiri and its satellite, Camp Sarika, reflect dual aspects of this ancient desert landscape. Role

This seasonal position is available for a start date of July 30th or August 6th working until November 7, 2026. Optional Employee housing is available at a monthly rate.

The Seasonal Backserver is responsible for assisting the service team with the delivery of food and beverages to guests, maintaining the cleanliness of service areas, and ensuring seamless communication between the front and back of house teams. They are key to upholding Amangiri’s high standards of service and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Assist with clearing tables and maintaining a clean front and back of house area, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests as per service standards, ensuring quality and presentation.

• Stock and polish equipment (silverware, linens, glassware) and replenish side stations as needed throughout service.
• Act as the liaison between the servers and kitchen, ensuring food information and special requests are effectively communicated.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the proper timing of food delivery and coordinate the pacing of courses.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down tables and side stations as per SOPs, including pre-shift, post-shift, and daily duties.
• Always maintain a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring guests are satisfied with their experience.
