Job summary

Encore is seeking a seasonal full-time Audio-Visual Technician to set up and operate basic audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment. The role includes full-time benefits, overtime, and hands-on training to support career growth and advancement.

The technician will work on events, assist guests on-site, troubleshoot equipment and software, and handle light up-selling and invoicing in Navigator. A High School Diploma is required; Associate’s degree and AV experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
• Must have valid driver’s license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and break down basic audiovisual equipment for events.
• Meet with guests on site to ensure needs are met and equipment works properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment and software issues in a timely manner.
• Enter orders and finalize invoices; use Navigator for paperwork as needed.
