Job summary

VF Corp is hiring a Seasonal Associate for the General Warehouse on 1st shift. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM–4:00 PM with pay of $16.90 per hour plus performance incentives.

The role involves receiving, storing and dispatching goods, stock control, packing and loading, and operating pallet jacks as needed. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of warehouse experience, basic education, and a proven ability to work independently toward daily goals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of work experience is preferred.
• Basic reading, writing and numeracy skills required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, load and unload merchandise following procedures.
• Record transactions and maintain up-to-date stock records in a database.
• Pick, pack and dispatch goods; operate heavy-duty equipment as needed.

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Warehouse Associate at VF looks a little like this.

Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in a warehouse. Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.

• Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise, picking, and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders. Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock records; retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries.
• Responsible for working independently to reach individual production goals successfully and accurately.
