Job summary

Taft College is seeking an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach for the 2026-27 season. This temporary, part-time role supports the Head Coach in all coaching duties, with responsibilities including instruction and game preparation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of coaching experience at competitive club or high school level or above.
• Must be available for practices Monday–Friday 8 am–10 am and related meetings.
• Must be able to travel to competitions as schedule requires.
• Dependable with good communication, initiative, poise and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Women's Basketball Coach in all aspects of coaching for the 2026-27 season.
• Instruct team members in knowledge of the sport and strategies during practices and competitions.
