Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education. In exceptional circumstances, equivalent experience may substitute.
One year or more of competitive softball coaching, playing, or related experience.
Ability to comply with NCAA, conference, University, and Athletics Department rules.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with student-athletes from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Coach in daily administration and operations of the softball program.
Teach and instruct student-athletes in softball skills during practices and games.
Assist with practice planning, scouting, video analysis, and opponent evaluation.
Recruit prospective student‑athletes through evaluations, visits, and communications.
Support academic success and retention of student‑athletes with academic services.
