Job summary

Bituminous Roadways, Inc. in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Grading Laborer to assist the grading crew by shoveling, smoothing, lifting and carrying asphalt materials. You will work with machine operators from the ground to ready surfaces, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and outdoor weather resilience.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift 50+ pounds, teamwork, and reliable attendance. Background checks, drug test, and E-Verify participation are required.

Qualifications

• Physical labor role requiring outdoor work in varying weather.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly.
• Background check, physical and drug test required; E-Verify participation.

Responsibilities

• Shovel, smooth, lift, pull and carry asphalt materials.
• Prepare work area for grading and cooperate with machine operators.
• Maintain safety and efficiency on site; communicate clearly with crew.
• Work long hours and some weekends; attend to overtime as needed.
