We're hiring a Seasonal Full-Time Aquatics Program Leader who will champion the YMCA’s mission of healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll oversee aquatic programming, maintain safety standards, and support a team of up to 20 staff through coaching, training, and development. You'll also ensure certifications are current, conduct YMCA and Red Cross certification courses, and play a key role in program scheduling, communication with families, and data tracking. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Indirectly supervise 5-20 staff members. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning, assigning, directing work, performance appraisal, coaching, rewarding, disciplining, and resolving issues in accordance with policies and laws.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit, talk, hear, stand, walk, handle objects, reach, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. The environment usually has a moderate noise level. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
