Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Sales Outfitter to perform selling and customer service activities, greet customers, and help with product information. You will stay knowledgeable about offerings and assist with merchandise handling and store operations.

You will promote programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up, restock shelves, and maintain pricing/signage to deliver a legendary customer experience for every guest.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt, friendly manner.
• Demonstrate products to customers and provide information and assistance.
• Replenish shelves per merchandising guidelines and restock merchandise.
• Maintain pricing and signage and stay knowledgeable through product knowledge training.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves and program promotions (e.g., CLUB Membership, VOC, In-Store Pick-up).
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Follow company policies and procedures and provide a legendary customer experience.
