Job summary

The Salvation Army in Norcross, GA seeks a dedicated Warehouse Worker for the Christmas Center to assist with donations, unloading trucks, stacking items, and staging goods for distribution. You will mentor volunteers on the warehouse floor, support Angel Tree operations, keep the space clean and organized, and partner with donors to promote a positive image.

Some shifts may vary and weekend on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

Mentor and assist volunteers on the Christmas Center Warehouse floor.
Must be able to lift and unload materials from truck and in warehouse.
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
Willingness to work shifts that vary from day to night and be on call on weekends.

Responsibilities

Assist Angel Tree Coordinator and Angel Tree Lead Warehouse Worker with organization and daily tasks.
Mentor and assist volunteers on the Christmas Center Warehouse floor.
Lifts and stacks donations in the warehouse.
Distributes donations to their proper place as instructed in the warehouse.
Clean and service assigned areas in the Christmas Center.
Pick up trash, empty garbage container, and remove all trash to area for disposal.
Unloads the truck at the Christmas warehouse.
Assist with angel tree pickups from the drop-off locations.
Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein.
