Job summary

Outworx Group is seeking a Seasonal Driver for ORD Airport operations. The role involves supporting airfield snow removal by transporting personnel and supplies and applying chemicals as needed.

Key duties include safe vehicle operation, pre/post-trip inspections, and reporting issues to maintenance. On-call availability October 15 through April 30 is required, with long hours, nights, weekends and holidays. Physical tasks and light labor on-airfield are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
• On-Call availability from Oct 15 to Apr 30; long hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Must walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, push and pull.
• Cell phone capable of clocking in/out.
• Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustments.
• Confident, efficient communication via cellphone, radio, writing and in-person.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles safely in poor weather and low visibility.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report vehicle issues to maintenance and supervisor.
• Follow supervisor directions promptly.
• Shuttle personnel, meals, parts, tools and materials on/off airfield.
• Plan routes to multiple sites on the airfield and nearby.
• Assist in general labor tasks as needed.
• Apply salt and other chemicals using truck-mounted or push spreaders.
