Job summary

The Inland Group of Companies is seeking an Aircraft Deicer at MSP Airport in Bloomington, MN. The role involves removing ice from aircraft, operating a deice truck or spraying from the bucket, and inspecting for remaining ice after deicing.

This is a part-time seasonal position with multiple shifts. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour, with potential to reach $22.00 per hour after completing operator training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Maintain and treat all information as confidential.
• Must read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• Must be able to verbally direct in English.
• Must be able to complete IDS classroom and OJT training.
• Must be able to speak and hear efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe environment during de/anti-icing operations and follow policies.
• Participate in pre-planning for de/anti-ice events and perform equipment checks.
• Uphold duties related to de/anti-icing, including inspecting aircraft for frozen contamination.
• Ensure proper shutdown and complete paperwork and logs; log maintenance issues.
