Job summary

Central United Cooperative is seeking seasonal help in the agronomy department to assist with NH3 tank operations. Hours are flexible with day, evening, and weekend shifts; overtime applies after 40 hours per week. A seasonal B CDL or Class A with haz-mat/tanker endorsements may be required, and a valid medical card is needed.

Drug testing and safety training are required. Responsibilities include pulling tanks to fields, maintaining equipment, delivering fertilizer and chemicals, filling tanks,

Qualifications

• Availability to work extended hours during peak seasons
• Must be able to follow directions and effectively communicate with others
• Agriculture background preferred but not required
• Must have, at minimum, a Class D driver's license and be eligible to obtain a seasonal B CDL OR have a Class A CDL with haz-mat and tanker endorsements. A valid medical card is required. Employer will verify driver insurability.
• Positions are subject to drug and alcohol testing
• Must complete all safety training and adhere to safety policies and state/federal safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Pull anhydrous tanks to and from farm fields
• Maintenance of machinery/equipment
• Deliver fertilizer, chemical, water and anhydrous to operators
• Fill anhydrous tanks
• Assist with chemical and seed warehouse activities
