Job summary

Simon & Schuster, Inc. in Riverside, NJ is seeking a 1st Shift Seasonal Part-time Warehouse Associate to maintain workflow of cartons in the Case Seal department and support distribution operations at our Riverside facility.

Responsibilities include inspecting cartons, preventing conveyor backlogs, and operating the split case back wall line while remaining flexible for overtime and additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to meet workplace demands.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of employees.
• Ability to work alongside employees and accomplish daily goals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.
• Stand on feet for entire shift.
• Twist, bend, reach, kneel, climb.
• Willing to work OT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough workflow of cartons through Case Seal department.
• Inspect cartons.
• Avoid back up on conveyor line.
• Run split case back wall conveyor line.
• Work OT as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
